Diamond Lights
"Diamond Lights" was a small project i did in june 2004. It was meant as a present for a friend. But it somehow never worked properly on her PC. Anyway, it's now available for all of you. The game uses DirectDraw 7 for the graphics and the BASS API for playing music.
The whole program has been written in C++. The time required for coding it was approximatly 3 days.
Mini FAQ
-
My firewall reports that internet activity! What is going on?
Diamond Lights is no spyware. The software's music is streamed directly from the internet. The game will attempt to access media content of the scenemusic.net server. You may change streaming source by modifying the file "music" in the Diamond Lights directory.

Is there a way to change the look and feel of Diamond Lights?
Yes. The diamonds, the cursor and the backgrounds are just windows bitmaps. The click sounds are PCM wave files. Exchange the files in the directory "/res" and you also exchange the graphics.
